It also points out that the number of glass panels on Pyramide du Louvre is actually 698, not 666. Well, that's informative...


庭 のフェンスでは今ジャスミンが花盛り。小説「ダ・ヴィンチ・コード」には公園で深夜戯れる恋人たちの頬をジャスミンの香りがやさしく撫でる、という一節が ある。不吉なサイレンが街路をナイフのように切り裂く直前、嵐の前夜の艶かしい春の描写だ。これがダン・バーンスタインの解読書「ダ・ ヴィンチ・コードの真実」にかかると「実際の開花時期は7月」となる。…なもん、どっちだっていいだろう！だが、ルーブル･ピラミッドのパネルが 「666枚というのはウソで698枚が正解」というのは一つ、勉強になった。
